Motivation is something we should have towards goals. Keeping us pumped up and focused to stay on track. As a blogger, you may need motivation just as much as food.
What happens when your friends, family, and whoever it may concern doesn’t motivate you to blog?
It can be unmotivating, but the truth is most people don’t see your vision. That doesn’t mean give up, it simply means this is a job that you must motivate yourself in and prove that you were always worthy of support.
Did you even start your blog yet?
This blog post will contain strategies to motivate yourself as a new or even aged blogger.
It may also include affiliate links, referrals, and other useful products that I, myself have found useful as a new blog writer.
Your Atmosphere Matters
Creating a workspace gives you organization and peace of mind. We all know that writing, editing, and creating content for our websites is a huge responsibility. Our responsibility!
Just saying that makes me feel important, but also I can feel the pressure to put in a lot of hard work!
Needless to say, when it comes to motivation even little things such as office decor can increase your excitement with being the best.
I like to create my own motivational quotes that are relevant to a hard-working blogger and frame them. Sometimes I may light a candle or incense which instantly puts me in the motivational energy of getting things done.
Whatever objects, routines, or decor creates a positive energy within you, should be apart of your work area.
Meditation and yoga is something that I recommend for all people. As a blogger meditation is a very important routine that always inspire me to accomplish more within my life.
Wake up with good habits
In the morning, have a good breakfast, something energizing not tiring foods. Maybe fruit and yogurt or a fruit shake. My point is that you should be eating energizing foods to fuel your energy throughout the day as a full time or part-time blogger. Energy is key to staying motivated also. If your tired and feeling sluggish then your work ethic will resemble it or maybe you don’t even work at all!
One day of no work turns into two days then three then four so on…. That’s a habit you can’t afford as a blogger especially a new one.
You should be having productivity within your blog daily even if everything is already automatic. Which is my next topic…
Prepare your blog ahead of time
If you are prepared, then you are always ready. My point is you should always be ready to post next week’s content.
This is not necessary, but it is very beneficial and increases your motivation knowing that you already have content to post whenever you need to.
I use multiple tools that allow me to set my blog up for automatic traffic.
Tailwind is one of the tools that I found very helpful in automating my blog.
(Here I tell you all about how to use this tool for marketing success. )
I don’t use many tools, to be honest, but tailwind seems to be really one of the main tools I use along with my email marketing tool Convert kit.
Email marketing gathers all of my subscriber’s emails creatively and I love it! As a new blogger, I am so glad that I started using this tool early on because It allows me to connect with my subscribers and offer my products even If I stopped getting traffic for some odd reason.
Automating your blog may seem robot-ish, but it’s not like that at all. There is still no way that I could make my blog 100% automatic unless I give up creativity and hire a writer, which is no plan of mine any time soon.
Just be prepared and have content ready to post ahead of your publishing dates which will boost your productivity and motivate you to make more content
Think about the future with blogging. I know that this is a challenging career choice because you can only truly think about the future. Your writing awesome post, but the only success that you are having is pageviews.
This may be frustrating to an amateur…no offense. This job isn’t for everyone.
Pageviews increasing is a great thing and you should always remain grateful for progress in your blogging journey.
If you are not ready to spend countless hours on your future, then you need a new hustle. This business is for the strongest, smartest, and most patient people.
Stay strong and stay focused!
