Do you want to create a Money-Making blog that makes you money as soon as you are set up?
I’m going to show you the exact steps I took to set up my blog for making money as soon as it launched.
I wanted a better life for me and my loved ones. I couldn’t provide as much as I felt was needed from me and that had to change.
I did whatever I could to make Boss Lady Executives a success, and that’s just what I did.
So you can say that I started a blog to create my own work at home job. Working at home is a luxury that everyone could enjoy as a blogger especially during the pandemic where many people don’t have the option to work at home and build a profitable business.
Anyone can work from home As a blogger with the correct research and drive.
Blogging in 2024 is something that is a great investment for someone of any age bracket.
If you are an entrepreneur, blogging would be a great business to invest in whether you do it full-time or part-time.
Depending on your blog topics, you could make great passive income once your blog plan is in place.
How does a blog make money?
When you prepare your blog so that you can make money from it, it’s called monetization. Blogs can be monetized in numerous ways!
That’s one of the reasons I love the business of blogging.
You are not limited to the possibilities of making money, therefore you can do whatever technique you find useful to make an income from it.
- Affiliate marketing
- Advertisement space
- Sponsored post
- Creating your own products to sell
- Services
- Coaching
- Memberships
The list goes on and on….
The goal is to pick however many techniques and implement them right away.

Where to start?
First, you want to create a name for your blog business.
Be sure to not spend too much time creating a name for your blog. I did this and Wasted too much time when I could have been creating more content.
Definitely make sure that you keep these things in mind while naming your blog……..
- The blog’s name should be creative
- Think of something that gives you logo ideas.
- Be careful when naming the blog directly after your niche because you never know if you have to completely change your blog topics.
An example of a blog title that may not work is “Tornadosinflorida.com” This name is just too targeted towards something that may not even be a niche that you can make money from.
Not saying that you can’t have a blog about tornados, but you may want to name the blog Greatinfo.org or something similar just in case you need to change things up, you won’t be stuck with a sucky blog name.
Once you choose a name make sure it is available when buying your website domain. Don’t buy your domain before hosting because your domain may come with a hosting plan as mine did with Bluehost. Web hosting is a service that offers storage and a place for your domain.
Branding the Blog
However, you want your blog to be perceived as a part of the branding process.
I have created a shortlist of things to do to brand your blog
- Create a color scheme and stick with it!!
- Create your logo and insert it on every post somehow or Pinterest pins.
- Create a font scheme as well
These things will create a professional-looking blog and show your audience that you are trustworthy.
Your audience will recognize your logo, color scheme, and fonts. This will bring them back to your website which is what you want!
I always use Canva pro to create all of my blog’s graphics and marketing designs. You don’t necessarily need Canva pro, but Canva Pro gives you access to all of Canva’s premium features. The tools on canvas are easy to use and it allows any business or blog business to make professional-looking content, which is very useful.
I’m
I am not a professional graphic creator, but Canva sure makes me feel like one.
Web Hosting
Web hosting ace is where your website lives. Hosting allows your created domain to have a place on the web.
If you want to make money from blogging, web hosting is 100% necessary. There are many places where you can play around and make a website for free, but I recommend that you don’t use free hosting unless you actually are just playing around and not serious about blogging.
I used free hosting at first, but it was only for my experimenting to see how it would feel to actually own a site one day.
Now I know how it feels to be a blogger and I am so thankful I made the switch over to a better hosting company for my blog.
Don’t waste your time experimenting as I did.
The faster you start your blog the quicker you can be successful.
If you are a new blogger wondering where to start, let’s start with creating your own self-hosted website instead of using free platforms.
Why is using self-hosted sites better than free hosting sites?
If you haven’t started a blog yet, then keep reading on how to choose a hosting site and set up your blog. If you are using free web hosting somewhere then you want to continue reading as well.
Prices
The price is something you have to be aware of while choosing a web host and since your not making profits yet keeping the budget low is a must. Well, at least it was for me.
When I first decided I was serious about blogging I didn’t know where I should host my blog.
I wondered where are all of the top bloggers’ websites are hosted?
So I simply did my research and asked some friendly bloggers what hosting are they happiest with and I received answers!
It was clear to me that Bluehost was the answer.
Here’s Why…..
Lots of successful bloggers use Bluehost and have nothing but good things to say about it.
It’s easy to navigate allows your unique designs and unlimited monetization which means unlimited funds!
Being a new blogger in the game, I didn’t want to spend too much money before making anything back. I also wanted to do everything the right way.
This may be your case also, that’s why Bluehost is a smart decision. The great thing about Bluehost is that they offer starter plans as low as $2.95 also you receive a Free Domain Name when you sign up for a hosting plan.
Bluehost is hosting millions of blogger websites worldwide. The support team is also available 24/7 to make sure they suit your needs.
I used web support for some technical issues I had with my website and I was very pleased that they made everything right within 10 minutes of chatting with an agent who examined my site. This is also something that you may look past, but I promise the support is necessary!
There are definitely other hosting websites out there, but with my research, I realized that Bluehost has the cheapest prices of them all.
Bluehost also connects your blog with wordpress.org for free! WordPress makes everything easier for bloggers even if you aren’t tech-savvy.
WordPress offers multiple add ons and themes that will make your blog look even more professional!
Bluehost is an amazing hosting company and I have nothing, but good things to say about it.
So from one blogger to the next, what are you waiting for?
Bluehost even offers a 30-day money-back guarantee so what do you have to lose?
How to start a Blog with Bluehost and WordPress?

Congratulations! You’re on your way to create a WordPress blog on Bluehost!
Creating Your blog
Your blog is ready to be created so first, you want to select a theme that suits your blog the best.
There are some pages that Bluehost requires you to make such as about page, resource page, and a few others.
Make sure you implement all of the branding techniques that are mentioned above while creating pages, posts, and photos.
Before I started my blog I already started it!
What I mean is that I already had content written along with custom photos I made prior to buying my hosting service.
No matter what type of blog you are creating, I recommend at least 10-20 post prewritten and edited if you can.
I worked at home before blogging so managing my time was sort of familiar for me.
Arrange time throughout your day to create a post, photos, or anything that can fill up your blog.
(Here are some pintables that will keep you organized with making blog topics)
The more post you have on your page, the longer your audience stays. Remember this.
Monetizing and Marketing
No matter the type of blog you’re creating you need to implement a marketing plan.
What social media platforms suit you and your blog?
Pinterest is my favorite marketing platform for my blog.
Before you can market your blog, you have to monetize your blog …. That is If you want to profit from it!
Do you want to create your own product? Are you going to use affiliate programs? I have a post about (different ways to earn income from your blog).
Whether you are creating your own products or promoting affiliate links, this strategy needs to be in place before even launching/marketing your blog.
This is what will bring in the passive cash flow. Therefore, making sure your blog is marketable, monetized, and professional is key to building your money-making blog.
Do these things in a timely manner and launch that blog!
I wanted to make things happen as soon as possible, so I gave myself a month to get my blog completely ready.
You can do this too!
I am excited for you, new bloggers to begin a journey that you will soon be successful in.
Attract all that you want with positivity and confidence. Embrace change to attract abundance.
Stay focused and you shall also obtain the goals you set.
