As a blogger, there are multiple possibilities to make money from your blog.

The key to success in life is having multiple incomes and that applies especially to a blogger! We create our income source so just sticking with one could work, but why stop there?

It’s smarter to have multiple incomes due to your blog.

Here are a few ways you can capitalize on your blog.

different ways that you can make money with your blog as a new blogger

Affiliate Links

These are links that you may promote in your blog from another company that pays you a percentage or amount of money for promoting their products.

Affiliate links are great when they are useful to your reader.

If you want to create a strategy by using affiliate links in your blog post, this could be a great way to make money with your blog.

When I offer affiliate links they are exclusively for my readers.

Only products that my readers should consider and find useful.

Digital Products

Digital products are amazing!

This may be one of my favorite types of products because it is based on your creativity and effort to create them.

They also may be created for free! Now that’s something we all can appreciate in this world of unexpected fees in the blogging world.

Ebooks are an example of a digital product. People love ebooks, especially informative ones.

Ebooks, courses, and pdf files can all be sold through your blog. These are also things that are helpful to your audience!

Here are a few apps and websites to try for creating digital products

Free Digital product creation apps/websites…

  • Canva (printables)
  • Google docs (for documents and PDFs)
  • Voice memo (android and iPhone users)
  • Video recording (video courses)
  • Picsart

Freelancing

Freelancing is finding work in your expertise.

Freelance writing is a great way to make money online. Companies hire freelancers for all sorts of things such as writing blog posts, editing, and social media managing for their company.

Having a blog is like having a public pro folio, this means some of these opportunities might find you!

Having a blog lets your future employer know that you are a serious writer.

There are also many ways to land a freelance writing job.

Land a freelance writing opportunity by…

  • Cold emailing
  • Marketing your blog (organic traffic gain interest in you as a writer)
  • Word of mouth (yes really!)
  • Linked in or any other social media connections
  • Cold calling
  • Postcard marketing
  • Writing for free (choose wisely who you give free content to. It should always benefit you short or longterm)

Anyways… the writing business is a business that is often overlooked when it shouldn’t be. You could write blogs post, be a virtual assistant .. the list goes on!

As I said before multiple incomes are better than one!

Advertisements

Mostly all bloggers use advertisements. Affiliate marketing is also a form of advertisement on your blog.

You can also rent out space on your blog for businesses to place their ad. Some bloggers are able to charge thousands of dollars for ad space due to their traffic.

I haven’t started using this strategy for my blog just yet and honestly not sure if I will unless the company is beneficial to you as a reader. Other than that I am happy with my income which continues to increase due to my strategic marketing plan I have with tailwind.

Tailwind is a great marketing company that shares my Pinterest pins automatically While I’m simply doing other productive things. I leave it up to this system which allows me to reach thousands of people who are interested in my content.

Placing other companies’ ads can alone make a full-time income as long as you have web traffic.

You get to build a relationship with people interested in your blog. They are your audience, so there is a high chance that what you have to offer them is going to be useful. That’s when your audience can become a source of income when they purchase from you.

To start email marketing you will need to choose an email marketing service provider. I have a list of different email marketing companies that are great for bloggers.

However, Email marketing is a great way to make passive income as a blogger so give it a go!

Here’s a tip! subscribe to an email list of someone in the same niche as you and copy their formula and tweak it if you are having a tough time thinking of what to say.

Printables

Printable worksheets or any type of guide to follow is a way to make passive income on your blog.

You can create and sell a workout schedule and diet plan to lose weight fast if you are a fitness blogger.
